Starting Points

Congratulations to Project X designer Linda Harrison, whose first solo-authored idea book, Starting Points, is now available for preorder at Amazon.com.

From the editors: “In Starting Points, Linda Harrison explains that most scrapbook pages are a result of four basic starting points: photos, words, products and other inspirations. She teaches readers to recognize what inspires them to create a page as well as how to make a meaningful and attractive page from that starting point. Accompanying inspiration is shown with each layout so that readers can understand and apply the creative thinking process to their own pages.”

Contributors to the book include fellow Project X designers, Summer Fullerton and Kim Moreno.

Halloween is quickly approaching!

It's getting frighteningly close to the end of October and that can only mean one thing to a scrapbooker...

So, get those batteries charged and upload all those photos on your memory card so you'll have plenty of room for all of those fun halloween photos you'll be taking! I know I'm ready...how about you!?

I took some time to look around at some other recent magazines to find our fab Project X team -- Kim Moreno is in October Cards, Angie Hagist can be found in the pages of the October Paper Trends and in the Scrapbook Trends "Home for the Holidays" book, Linda Harrison is featured in Memory Maker's Books' "Flip, Spin, & Play" Book, and Tracey Odachowski can be seen in Michael's Monthly as well as Hobby Lobby Magazine. Awesome! Congrats, girls!

October Scrapook Trends

As I was flipping through the pages of my October issue of Scrapbook Trends, I counted four...(yes, FOUR!) Project X'ers in there! Wow! Congrats to our fab designers who were published in this issue: Summer Fullerton, Angie Hagist, Alexis Hardy, & Linda Harrison! Way to go girls!!

Now, I'm off to see what other publications are featuring the work of our Project X team...

The 2007 CK Hall of Fame book has been released recently and in it you will find the award winning pages of three of our Project X team members! If you haven't had a chance to see the book yet, you really should!
